Testimonial from an Egg Donor

When I first learned about what being an egg donor entailed I knew that it would be a rewarding experience for both the donor and the family.

I have gone through two donation cycles with FSMG and I could not imagine working with any other clinic. They prepared me both mentally and physically, answered any questions I had, and helped ensure that I was as comfortable as possible throughout the process.

Whenever people ask me why I became an egg donor I tell them to imagine how they would feel if they found out they couldn't have a child without assisted reproductive technology. Most agree that they would be devastated and would be eternally thankful to have a willing egg donor help them fulfill their dream of having a child.

Having the opportunity to donate my eggs and assist a family in need is something that brings me so much joy and gratitude that I am thankful for simply being considered as a candidate.

The time commitment is as simple as a few appointments a week while you are actively donating, and the support you receive before, during, and after is tremendous.

I will be the first to admit that it takes courage, and a big heart to be able to donate your eggs, and the gift that you are giving to a family is something that cannot be truly understood until you experience it for yourself. And I can tell you first hand, that it is an experience I cannot imagine living without.
